Manfred D. Makor
Manfred is a native of Monrovia, Liberia. He holds a business degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA majoring in Finance and Economics with an emphasis in International Business. Manfred also earned a MBA from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.
Presently, Manfred is a business education teacher at Northwood High School in Pittsboro, NC. Prior to teaching, for several years, he worked in different sales and marketing positions. Mr. Makor is the founder and president of Legacy Sports Academy (LSA). He also sits on the board of Football for the Development of the Destitute (FODEDE) which is a non-profit organization based in Liberia geared to helping and assisting the destitute as well as promoting the Homeless World Cup.
Manfred is passionate about impacting lives and he’s actively involved in youth soccer as well. He holds a USSF D coaching license and has been coaching youth soccer since 2003. Manfred was the Director of Coaching for Girls’ with Discoveries Soccer Club in Rock Hill, SC for several years. He also coached at the high school level for a few years at Porter Ridge High School in Indian Trail, NC. Manfred has been coaching at Triangle United Soccer Association (TUSA) in Chapel Hill, NC for the past several years. He has coached a number of athletes who have made it to the collegiate level.

Kristi Moore
As a global leader of 20+ years in Talent Acquisition, focused in the Tech and Cloud Services space, Kristi
brings a unique insight into career progression in the technology space and considers herself a “People
Engineer” who excels at building connections and relationships globally. Her passion both professionally
and personally is to be a voice for the voiceless and help pave a broader future for those that are
marginalized, with a focus on empowering women in both the workplace and society.
Early on in her career, in 2003, Kristi was given an opportunity to work with an Indigenous organization
based out of Monrovia, Liberia, that ran several schools and a large orphanage home. Kristi spent three
years in Liberia and helped to build out this organization’s child sponsorship and adoption program that
saw over 100 children get adopted and all 400+ children at the orphanage with sponsors to help support
their housing, food, and education. Kristi is the mother to three grown children that she adopted while
living in Monrovia, Liberia: two boys and one girl, Dennis, Caleb and Helena

Artemus W. Gaye, PhD, was born in Monrovia, Liberia where he completed his high school and later moved to Zimbabwe for his undergraduate studies at Africa University from 1994-1997. Awarded scholarship to the USA to complete his clinical at Wm. Beaumont Hospital in Trauma Care from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2008 Art enrolled in a joint master and PhD programs at Garrett, Northpark and Loyola Universities as a philosopher specializing in Ethics.
